Maharashtra Minister Of Co-operation Inaugurates Agricultural Conference

Solapur ( Maharashtra ): A National Rural Development Agricultural Conference was held at the National Research Center On Pomegranate in Kegaon, Solapur under the guidance of Padma Bhushan Dr. Vijay Bhatkar.It was inaugurated by Honorable Mr. Subhash Deshmukh, Minister of Cooperation, Marketing and Textile in the Maharashtra government. A selected seventy participants out of the country were invited for this occasion. In addition, organic farmers also attended the conference.

BK Dashrath, BK Vitthal, BK Balasaheb, BK Balu and BK Tulsi attended this event on behalf of the Brahma Kumaris . BK Balasaheb, while interacting with the audience said that sustainable yogic farming  is the method that allows living in harmony with nature. It is the bridge between man and the Supreme Soul. Farmers must learn to draw energy from the Supreme Soul with Rajayoga meditation. Being in harmony with the five elements through yoga will increase soil fertility and lead to better output.

Dr. Bhatkar said that if every farmer starts doing yogic practices, only then can Bharat return to the Golden Age.

Mr. Deshmukh talked about the importance of taking proper care of cattle, especially cows and learning better marketing techniques for agricultural products.

Agricultural scientists from all over the country who attended the event also shared their views on sustainable yogic farming.
