Gurugram ( Haryana ): “Ruhani Udaan” a 3-day Retreat for Youth was organized by the Brahma Kumaris Youth Wing at their Om Shanti Retreat Centre (ORC) in Bhodakalan, Gurugram. Thousands of youth from across the country participated in this retreat. The subject of the retreat was “The Nectar for Life is Zeal and Enthusiasm“.
It was chaired and addressed by several eminent personalities.
The Chief Guest was the Honorable Loksabha Speaker, Mr. Om Birla. Mr. Sangram Singh, Managing Director of Mother Dairy; BK Brij Mohan, Additional Chief Secretary of the Brahma Kumaris; BK Asha, Director, ORC, and BK Chandrika, President of Youth Wing, honoured the dais.
Addressing the youth of the nation Mr. Om Birla said, “Brahma Kumaris Organization is giving a vision of new life to the entire world through spirituality. Especially their guidance to youth is bringing very valuable transformation in the Society. The role of youth in building a nation is unique”. He said that to restrict the present degradation of Moral Values is possible only through Spirituality. He said, “Indian Youth are going to guide the World in the near future. The Youth filled with Divine and Spiritual Energy can only build a Golden World”. He further said that the Services of the Brahma Kumaris on a personal level to build Morality in Character is reviving Social and Cultural Heritage.
Mr. Sangram Singh in his speech said, that the “Prosperity of any nation depends on the prosperity of its citizens”. He said, “I have been in connection with the Brahma Kumaris for last 25 years and I am feeling a vast change in myself by Rajayog Meditation taught by them”. He said, “If we surrender our mind for positive objectives then success on its own comes at our feet”.
BK Brij Mohan, Additional Chief Secretary of the Brahma Kumaris put forth, “If zeal and enthusiasm aren’t there, it is Life without which Man is equal to dead. We find Zeal and Enthusiasm when we achieve Success. This is possible only if we are in the state of our Natural Self. We are an Incorporeal Soul in this Body. Zeal and Enthusiasm can be retained only when we are in the Soul Conscious state. The Objective of Human Life is not for only Self but to be Charitable for Others”.
BK Asha said that if we feel that we are responsible for activities then others get automatically inspired to take up responsibility. So before trying to change the world, we must change ourselves. She said that there are three kinds of people in society. One who becomes the basis for change. Second, are those who keep looking at the change taking place, and the third are those who get surprised when they find the change. So we must see to which category that we desire to belong.
BK Chandrika who has specially arrived from Ahmedabad shared in detail about the services rendered by the Youth Wing. She said, “At present, 4 lakhs (400,000) bachelor youth are observing celibacy and are free from any addictions. From time to time several tours, rallies and campaigns all over India are being conducted by them. The main aim and objective of this Youth Wing is to motivate the Youth around the world to create a New Golden World”.
During the Retreat, they were given training in Rajayog Meditation and on various aspects pertaining to Spirituality.

राष्ट्र निर्माण में युवाओं की महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका
गुरूग्राम: ब्रह्माकुमारीज़ संस्था समूचे विश्व को आध्यात्मिकता द्वारा एक नया जीवन दर्शन देने का कार्य कर रही है। उक्त विचार देश के लोकसभा अध्यक्ष माननीय ओम बिरला ने ब्रह्माकुमारीज़ के भोड़ाकलां स्थित ओम् शान्ति रिट्रीट सेन्टर में युवाओं के लिए आयोजित कार्यक्रम में व्यक्त किये। उमंग-उत्साह जीवन के लिए अमृत विषय पर बोलते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि ब्रह्माकुमारीज़ द्वारा युवाओं को दिया जा रहा मार्ग दर्शन समाज में एक महत्वपूर्ण परिवर्तन लाने का कार्य कर रहा है। किसी भी राष्ट्र के निर्माण में युवाओं की विशेष भूमिका होती है। माननीय अध्यक्ष ने कहा कि वर्तमान समय नैतिक पतन को रोकने का कार्य केवल आध्यात्मिकता के माध्यम से ही संभव है। उन्होंने कहा कि आने वाले समय में भारत का युवा सम्पूर्ण विश्व के लिए मार्ग दर्शन का कार्य करेगा। आध्यात्मिक ऊर्जा से ओत-प्रोत नौजवान ही स्वर्णिम विश्व का निर्माण कर सकता हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि ब्रह्माकुमारीज़ संस्था व्यक्तिगत रूप से भी चरित्र निर्माण का कार्य कर सामाजिक और सांस्कृतिक विरासत को पुनर्जीवित कर रही है।
मदर डेयरी के प्रबन्ध निदेशक संग्राम सिंह ने अपने उद्बोधन में कहा कि किसी भी राष्ट्र की समृद्धि उसके नागरिकों की सम्पन्नता पर निर्भर करती है। उन्होंने कहा कि मैं पिछले २५ वर्षों से ब्रह्माकुमारीज़ संस्था के संपर्क में हूँ। यहाँ पर सिखाये जाने वाले राजयोग से मैंने स्वयं में महान परिवर्तन महसूस किया। उन्होंने कहा कि अगर हम अपने मन को सकारात्मक उद्देश्य के लिए समर्पित करते हैं तो सफलता स्वत: ही हमारे कदमों में आती है।
इस अवसर पर ब्रह्माकुमारीज़ संस्था के अतिरिक्त महासचिव बी.के.बृजमोहन जी ने कहा कि उमंग-उत्साह है तो जीवन है। बिना उमंग-उत्साह के व्य1ित प्राय: मृतक के समान है। उन्होंने कहा कि उमंग-उत्साह तभी आता है जब हम सफलता को प्राप्त करते हैं। हम सदा उमंग-उत्साह में तभी रह सकते हैं जब अपनी स्वाभाविकता में रहते हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि हम इस शरीर में एक अमर आत्मा हैं। आत्मिक स्वरूप की अनुभूति से ही उमंग-उत्साह बना रहता है। उन्होंने कहा कि हमारे जीवन का लक्ष्य सिर्फ अपने लिए नहीं बल्कि दूसरों को देने में हो।
इस अवसर पर अपने अध्यक्षीय संबोधन में बोलते हुए ओ.आर.सी की निदेशिका आशा दीदी ने कहा कि जब हम समझते हैं कि मैं जिम्मेवार हूँ, तो अनेकों को प्रेरणा स्वत: ही मिलती है। उन्होंने कहा कि संसार को बदलने से पहले हमें स्वयं को बदलना ज़रूरी है। उन्होंने कहा कि प्राय: तीन प्रकार के लोग होते हैं, एक वो जो परिवर्तन का आधार बनते हैं, दूसरे वो जो परिवर्तन होते हुए देखते हैं और तीसरे वो जो परिवर्तन होने के बाद आश्चर्यचकित होते हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि हमें तय करना है कि हम किस प्रकार की श्रेणी में आना चाहते हैं।
इस अवसर पर विशेष रूप अहमदाबाद से पधारी संस्था के युवा प्रभाग की अध्यक्ष चंद्रिका दीदी ने ब्रह्माकुमारीज़ के युवा प्रभाग के द्वारा की जा रही सेवाओं की विस्तृत जानकारी दी। उन्होंने कहा कि वर्तमान समय संस्था में ४ लाख ऐसे युवा हैं जो ब्रह्मचर्य का पालन करते हैं और सभी व्यसनों और बुराईयों से मुक्त हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि युवाओं के द्वारा समय-समय पर देश भर में अनेक यात्रायें और अभियान आयोजित किये जाते हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि युवा प्रभाग का लक्ष्य देश व विश्व के युवाओं को प्रेरित कर एक स्वर्णिम विश्व का निर्माण करना है।
तीन दिन तक चले कार्यक्रम में देशभर से हजारों की संख्या में युवाओं ने भाग लिया। कार्यक्रम में युवाओं को आध्यात्मिक एवं योग से संबंधित अनेक विषयों पर प्रशिक्षण दिया गया। कार्यक्रम का संचालन बी.के. जाग्रति एवं बी.के.फाल्गुनी ने किया।
