Makati ( Phillipines ): The Brahma Kumaris Makati were invited by John Clements Consultants, Inc., during its Sales and Production Conference at LKG Tower on the topic “Kindness is Loving Yourself Enough to Love Those Around You.”
The conference was attended by around 60 employees from both management and staff. The program started with some warm-up games and introductions revolving around what kindness is and how one expresses it in practical life.
Senior Rajayogi BK Becky emphasized that kindness comes from the being, and taking care of my being is important for kindness to be expressed naturally to others at home, in the workplace, and in the community. We need to watch and pay attention to our kind thoughts, firstly for myself, then naturally those kind thoughts are expressed naturally in our words, tone of voice, warm, welcoming gestures, and positive actions and interactions. The talk was concluded with a meditation video to experience the self as the being of light and love.
Virtue reality cards were given to participants, along with the sharing that whatever virtue card one receives is uniquely his or hers at that moment. One then reflects on how to use that virtue card to share kindness to the self and others.
