Rajkot ( Gujarat ): The Brahma Kumaris of Rajkot organized a Gita Gyan Utshav (Festival) on the topic “Jivan ka Aadhar Gita ka Saar” (The Gita is the Basis of Life) conducted by Senior Rajyoga Teacher BK Usha from Mount Abu.
The festival was inaugurated by Rajyogini BK Bharti, Gujarat Zone incharge; Rajyogini BK Usha, Mount Abu; Binaben Acharya, Mayor of Rajkot; Bhanuben Babariya, MLA; Ward Corporators, Swastik didi, Swaminarayan; Devraj Gadhvi, Writer; Sardar Harisinh, Gurudwara; Dipakbhai, Art of Living; Dhirubhai Sarvaiya, Artist; Bishop Josh, Maulavi Dr. Ahemad bhai Kadri, Islami Mukhi Saheb Salim Taijani, and leaders from religious and spiritual organization by Shankh naad, God’s Remembrance and Lighting lamps by guest.
BK Usha explained that personal, social, national, global problems and solutions we get from the holy book Gita. She introduced a different role of the Mahabharata with respect to the present mental condition of people. Today’s Shakuni role is played by the mobile, which plays a vital role in the destruction of the internal world that effects the impressions, thoughts and feelings of a person.
Every Session concluded with Om dhavni and meditation.
The program had participation of about 1,000 distinguished guests and accomplished professionals from the fields of media, fashion, medicine, law, governance and commerce.
More than 7,500 people participated with zeal and enthusiasm.
Stalls for Addiction-free Rajkot, Plastic-free Rajkot, a Literature Store, and a Meditation room were set up, and many people took a pledge of quitting tobacco and plastics, and received God’s blessing.
The whole program successfully concluded with the participants understanding the need of Spiritual knowledge and meditation in present Life style.
