Mathura ( Uttar Pradesh ): Refinery Nagar, Mathura, a Unit of the Indian Oil Corporation, organized 34th Flower show in which more than five hundred varieties of flowers were displayed. The selfie Point, Car, artificial pool in flowers, and a cradle made of flowers, along with various other models made of flowers, were the center of attraction in the show.
The Brahma Kumaris participated in this exhibition by arranging a stall enlightening people on the theme laid down by United Nations Organisation as the “International Year of Plant Health (IYPH) 2020” in which awareness was created on protection and conservation of the environment through banners and posters. Briefing on the multidimensional activities organised by the Brahma Kumaris, Gopalpur centre-in-charge of Brahma Kumaris Rajyogini BK Krishna spoke about how the Brahma Kumaris help protect and preserve the environment by conducting plantation programs, cleanliness programs, and by creating awareness on how to harness solar power, rain water harvesting, and water conservation by conducting seminar at schools and colleges.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Aurobindo Kumar, Executive Director of Mathura Refinery, in the presence of Ruchi Aurobindo Kumar, Chairperson of Brinda Club ML Dharia, CGM, Technical; Ravindra Yadav, CEC, Officer’s Association; Mukesh Sharma, Chairperson of the Worker’s Union; Rajyogini BK Krishna, and senior Executives of Mathura Refinery. Colourful programs and prize distribution marked the closure of the show in which a short play by the Brahma Kumaris on how to prevent the use of plastic was admired by the visitors.

इंडियन ऑइल कार्पोरेशन की इकाई मथुरा रिफ़ाइनरी नगर में 34 वें फ्लावर शो महोत्सव का आयोजन 2 मार्च को सम्पन्न हुआ। जिसमें 500 से भी अधिक प्रजातियों के पुष्प प्रदर्शित किए गए थे । फ्लावर शो में सेल्फी प्वाइंट, फूलों से सदी कार, फूलों से सजा कृत्रिम पुल और फ्लावर झूला दर्शकों को बरबस अपनी ओर आकर्षित कर रहे थे । ब्रह्माकुमारी संस्था ने यूनाइटेड नेशंस की वर्ष 2020 की थीम “इंटरनेशनल ईयर ऑफ प्लेनेट हेल्थ” पर ज्ञानवर्धक प्रदर्शनी का स्टाल लगाया । प्रदर्शनी में बैनर व पोस्टर के माध्यम से लोगों को पर्यावरण के प्रति जागरूक किया गया । स्थानीय सेवा केंद्र प्रभारी बीके कृष्णा ने बताया कि ब्रह्माकुमारी संस्था पर्यावरण सुरक्षा के लिए वृक्षारोपण, सफाई अभियान, सोलर पावर, रेन वाटर हार्वेस्टिंग, जल संचयन और स्कूल कॉलेजों में सेमिनार आदि विभिन्न आयोजन करती है । प्रदर्शनी का शुभारंभ मथुरा रिफ़ाइनरी के कार्यकारी निदेशक श्री अरविंद कुमार ने फीता काटकर किया । उद्घाटन के अवसर पर वृंदा क्लब की अध्यक्षा रुचि अरविंद कुमार, सी जी ऍम टेक्निकल श्री एम एल धारिया, ऑफिसर एसोसिएशन के सी इ सी रविंद्र यादव, कर्मचारी संघ के अध्यक्ष मुकेश शर्मा स्थानीय सेवा केंद्र प्रभारी बीके कृष्णा और मथुरा रिफ़ाइनरी प्रबंधन के वरिष्ठ अधिकारी उपस्थित रहे । फ्लावर शो का समापन रंगारंग कार्यक्रम और पुरस्कार वितरण के साथ संपन्न हुआ जिसमें ब्रह्माकुमारी संस्था ने प्लास्टिक का उपयोग रोकने के लिए लघु हास्य नाटिका का मनमोहक मंचन किया जिसे दर्शकों ने खूब सराहा ।
