Inderpuri Brahma Kumaris Celebrate Navratri And Dusshehra

Inderpuri( Delhi): The Brahma Kumaris of Inderpuri celebrated the festivals of Navratri and Dusshehra by sharing the real spiritual significance beyond the customary rituals. Navratri is a nine day festival dedicated to the Divine Feminine, and on the tenth day Dusshehra is celebrated to symbolize the victory of good over evil. Due to Coronavirus Pandemic,  the program was telecast on YouTube channel.

BK Bala, Incharge of Brahma Kumaris in Indrapuri,  while speaking on this occasion said that Navratri is a festival of purity.  Everyone tries to maintain physical and mental purity for these nine days. But once the festival is over, people go back to their previous ways. These nine days are just meant for practice.  We should make these values of purity and spiritual power a part of our daily lives.  We should pledge to respect all women.

BK Anusuya from Mahipalpur, Delhi,  Coordinator of Youth Wing, while congratulating everyone on this festival,  said that the meaning behind showing the Goddess with so many weapons in her hands is the reference to her many Divine powers.  These are the inner powers inherent in every person through which all battles in life can be won. Connecting with the Supreme Soul brings all these powers to light.

BK Gayatri explained the Spiritual significance of Dusshehra.  The ten heads of Ravana symbolize different types of vices present in man. Rama is the Divine knowledge through which these vices or Ravana can be killed.
