Inaugural Ceremony of Four BK Centers and Foundation Laying Ceremony of 123 feet Shivling and Rajayoga Museum

Mysuru ( Karnataka ): Brahma Kumaris Mysuru Sub Zone organized the  Inaugural Ceremony of four BK Centers, a 123 feet tall Maha Shivling and a Rajayoga Museum which is planned for construction and to be dedicated for public service at ‘Gyan Sarovar Retreat Center’, Mysuru. Rajayogi BK Karuna and BK Lalit from Brahma Kumaris Head Quarters, participated in every program and gave blessings.

T.Narsipur Center, Inauguration of ‘Shiv Gyan Darshan Bhavan’

Shivaratri Deshikendra Swamiji of Suttur Mutt, Mysuru inaugurated the newly constructed Bhavan and said that ‘Brahma Baba was a very wealthy person, but once he dedicated himself for the spiritual upliftment of the society, he had a high aspiration of spreading Godly Knowledge to the nook and corner of the world.’ ‘Brahma Baba was of a firm belief that though a person has responsibilities of a family still he can do spiritual Sadhana. Today this institution has grown like a huge tree on the foundation of Brahma Baba’s Tyag(Renunciation) and Tapasya. The efforts of Brahma Kumaris to sustain people with knowledge and meditation and to inspire people to come forward to build such buildings for spiritual services has to be commended. Sisters lead a simple life like Brahma Baba and are full time workers of the institution without any expectations from anybody.’

BK Karuna, Chief of Multi Media of Brahma Kumaris blessed the occasion and said that God is one and is incorporeal. There is only one God for the entire universe. And this truth which is accepted by all is being revealed in 140 countries.

BK Lalit, Head of Accounts, Mount Abu expressed that ‘Just as Covishield vaccine is necessary to protect the body from Corona Virus. In the same way, Shivashield vaccine is available free of cost at all BK centers to protect souls from virus attack of negative forces.’

‘Gyan Sarovar Retreat Center’ Mysuru- Bhoomi Pooja for Founding of Mahashivling and construction of Rajyoga Museum

 A 123 feet tall Mahashivling and a Rajayoga Museum were planned for construction and dedicated for public service at ‘Gyan Sarovar Retreat Center’, Mysuru. S.T. Somashekhar ji, Minister for Cooperation and In-charge Minister of Mysuru District who inaugurated the Bhoomi Pooja(foundation ceremony) for the construction of Mahashivling and Rajayoga Museum said that the great Indian Culture is solely vanishing due to the attraction and impact of modern way of living. At this crucial point in time, Brahma Kumaris are making efforts to save our culture by instilling value system in people.’

‘Brahma Kumaris are well known for the Raksha Bandhan festival they celebrate ardently every year. They visit schools, colleges and offices to tie rakhi, distribute sweets and to give the message of brotherhood. Apart from their spiritual teaching they are also into community development activities and thereby strive for betterment of the society.’

‘Brahma Kumaris do not have any discrimination like caste, creed and religion while serving. They treat everyone as human beings and peaceful souls. In India as well as other countries they encourage people to fill themselves with spiritual thoughts so that a peaceful and spiritual vibrant society is created.’

‘In constructing this Mahashivling and Rajayoga Museum Brahmakumaris Brahma Kumaris have the vision of serving a large number of people every day and thereby bring peace in the society’.

MLAs GT Devegowda, L.Nagendra, President of Mysore Urban Dev Authority, HV Rajeev, Muda Commissioner Dr.DB Natesh and other dignitaries participated and spoke about the project.

Inauguration of ‘Gyan Darshan Bhavan’ at Kushalnagar 

Shantaveera Swamiji of Arameri Mutt, Kushalnagar in his address blessing the occasion said that ‘Brahma Kumaris are creating awareness among people about the importance of spiritual knowledge in life. Such knowledge empowers individuals with enhancement in their concentration level, changing the course of thinking and to take right decisions. Knowledge of the Self and also of God is lacking in the general public and hence there is always duality and indecisiveness in their attitude and relations.’

‘Inculcation of values is possible only by studying, observing others and becoming introvert. Because of lack of education of such processes our society is feeling the pinch of negative values like dishonesty, hatred, jealousy, anger, greed etc. Quality of life depends on how a person speaks and acts. If there is a wide gap between these two we cannot ensure credibility. Therefore, the teachings of Brahma Kumaris are required to make the society more reliable.’

Rajayogi BK Karuna, Chief of Media Wing, Mt Abu, in his inaugural speech said that ‘Brahma Kumaris teach people to be pure in their thoughts thus making such person honest. If the level of honesty increases in politicians, officers, household people and children we can rebuild the society with one strong value like honesty. We expect honesty from others but we ourselves do not practice it.’

‘Brahma Kumaris are in fact doing service to the nation by instilling positive values like simplicity, peace, happiness, love, truth etc. We can expect our country to be prosperous and peaceful only when our people practice positive values.’

MLA Appachuranjan, after flag hoisting and lighting of lamps said that, ‘I have been associated with Brahma Kumaris since two decades. I have observed that sisters here lead a simple life and work for bringing peace in lives of people. Their simplicity attracts people, and after getting the teachings they also become simple in words and deeds.’

BK Lakshmi presided the program. Industrialist brothers Satappan and Vishwanathan along with DIET Principal DB Suresh participated as guests. BK Ranganath, BK Shanmugam, BK Pranesh were present. BK Satappan sang a sloka on Shiva.

Inauguration of ‘Gyan Jyoti Bhavan’, at Konanur

Shiva Sujnana Teertha Swamiji of Aremadanahalli Mutt blessed the occasion and said that, ‘ Rajyoga Education enhances self-confidence and it increases the efficiency of the body to fight diseases. Also RajAyoga makes it possible to have Atma Sakshatkara(Vision of the soul) and Paramatma Sakshatkara(Vision of the Supreme soul). If we lead a life of righteousness we can meet god. Towards achieving this goal Brahma Kumaris is the only institution which is guiding people in the right way irrespective of caste and creed. The Spiritual Center of Brahma Kumaris was born in India and has grown globally to teach Rajayoga.’

Rajayogi BK Karuna, Chief of Media Wing, Mt Abu, in his inaugural address said that, ‘foreigners tried to spoil our culture and education system for a long time. In 85 years Brahma Kumaris have spread their teachings on value system, Rajayoga education and meditation in 147 countries’.

BK Lalit, Chief of Accounts Section, Abu, said that the society is ailing because diseases have entered into the souls. Bhakti along with Satopradhan stage and soul consciousness need to be inculcated now.

Paediatric Specialist Dr.Dinesh Byre Gowda opined that money cannot bring peace of mind whereas spirituality can bring solace.

 Inauguration of Gyan Darshan Bhawan at Yelwal 

Somanathananda Swamiji of Adi Chunchanagiri Mutt, Mysuru gave his blessings on the occasion and said that, ‘Gyan means Light, Darshan means experience. When the light of Knowledge enters in life the darkness of ignorance. That means sorrow and peacelessness will disappear and peace and happiness prevail. God is one but names are many. Brahma Kumaris preach to understand the role of soul and God.’

GT Devegowda, MLA, inaugurated the new building and said that we have to know our duties and responsibilities as a citizen of this country. Our Constitution has given us freedom of Religion and freedom of Worship. But still people are deprived of mental peace because of their ignorance of facilities available. Brahma Kumaris are doing a yeomen service in guiding people even in villages towards achieving peace and happiness which are prime necessities of a human being like food and water’.

Rajayogi BK Karuna, Chief of Media Wing, Mt Abu, said that Brahma Kumaris are committed to rebuilding the society through spiritual education and Rajayoga meditation.

Rajayogi BK Lalit, Chief of Accounts, Abu, said that, Brahma Kumaris are imparting knowledge of values through exhibition o pictures to create awareness about character building, stress free life, world peace, freedom from negative habits, spiritual experience and meditation.
