Governor of Jharkhand Inaugurates Live Show of Deities and Spiritual Visual Mela

Dumka ( Jharkhand ):The Dumka service center of Brahma Kumaris Jharkhand organized a spiritual fair on the occasion of Navaratri festival. Beautiful tableaux of the nine goddesses depicting their spiritual significance were made for the general public to see. Honorable Governor of Jharkhand Smt. Draupadi Murmu inaugurated this function. Dr. Louis Marandi, Minister of Minority Welfare, Social Welfare, Women and Child Development in Government of Jharkhand; Ms. Shweta Jha, Head of the Municipality of Dumka; Ms. Rajeshwari B., Deputy Commissioner of Dumka; and BK Kusum, Head of the local Brahma Kumaris center, were also present on this occasion.

Honorable Governor Smt. Draupadi Murmu in her address said that the Brahma Kumaris sisters are showing everyone the right way to live. They exhort everyone to work for bringing in the Golden Age. For that, we must learn to transform ourselves. There are many Bhagavad Gita recitation specialists today. But we need more of the people who can practice the principles of the Bhagavad Gita. In addition to the physical aspect of yoga, mental yoga should be learned as well. The combination of these two will make this world happier and healthier. During Navaratras, an effort to use will power to get rid of sense attractions should be made.

The main attractions of the Mela were a Live Deity show, a 30-foot Kumbakarna, 12 Jyotirlingam and a Laser show.
