Government of Maharashtra Energy Conservation Award to Brahma Kumaris

Nagpur (Maharashtra) :  The Brahma Kumaris Educational Society (BKES), Latur, received a State Level Energy Conservation Award during the 13th State Level Award Ceremony for Excellence in Energy Conservation and Management organised by the Maharashtra Energy Development Agency (MEDA), a Government of Maharashtra Institution, for their exceptional contribution in the field of Energy Conservation and sustainability activities.

Chief Guest Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Road Transport Highways and Shipping, and Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Minister for Energy, New and Renewable Energy, Government of Maharashtra, were also present on this occasion.

BK Nanda, Senior Rajyoga Teacher, Latur; BK Punya, Rajyoga Teacher, Latur; BK Kedar, Project Energy Auditor; and BK Prem Prakash received this award from Mr. Abhay Bakare (Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Ministry of Power, Government of India).

This State-level energy conservation project was organized by the Brahma Kumaris as part of their service organizing public awareness campaigns and implementing a “Save Multi-Million Units of Power” project.
