Sadabad ( Uttar Pradesh ): The Brahma Kumaris of Sadabad held a program at their Centre Shiv Shakti Bhawan to celebrate the Festival of Lamps, Deepavali, with fervor and enthusiasm.
Chief Guest of the occasion was Mr. TP Singh of Tahsildar. BK Kavita from Bharatpur, Rajasthan; Social Worker Mrs. Gita Goud and Local Centre in Charge BK Bhawana were there on the dais. They were welcomed with badges and bouquets, and commenced the function by lighting the lamps.
Speaking on the Spirituality of the Festival of Lights, BK Kavita said that Deepavali is a very valuable festival in our life. Presently the darkness of ignorance is fastly spreading in Human Life. Unless we try to remove it, there wouldn’t be any light in life. We are enjoying the festival physically but are unaware of its Spiritual meaning. To illuminate every Home, we must have the Light of Knowledge. She said that all our festivals are connected with our Indian Culture and Heritage.
Mr. TP Singh greeted all with Best Wishes and asked everyone to pray to God with pure Mind and always do good, then there will be only success and success in life.
BK Bhawana said, “Lamps are made of earth and may cost a rupee or two. But when it is filled with a wick and oil and ignited, it gives light and in that form it becomes worthy of worship. Various items and money are offered and promises are made taking the burning lamp as witness. The same lamps when go off, are no more useful. They are thrown out as waste.”
She said, “Human Body is similar to an earthen lamp. When Soul enters into the body and keeps shining with Knowledge, a Person becomes highly respectable. The next moment when the Soul leaves the body, it becomes useless like the lamps and gets discarded. Hence Deepavali is a memorial festival of Enlightenment of the Soul with Spiritual Knowledge to become a Deity and worthy of worship.
Mrs. Gita Gowd also extended her Diwali greetings to the audience and citizens.

सादाबाद : प्रजापिता ब्रह्माकुमारी ईश्वरीय विश्वविद्यालय ‘शिव शक्ति भवन’ सादाबाद में आज दीपावली के पावन अवसर पर दीपोत्सव का कार्यक्रम संपन्न हुआ ।कार्यक्रम में मुख्य अतिथि सादाबाद तहसीलदार श्री टी.पी सिंह उपस्थित थे। दीपोत्सव के कार्यक्रम में मंचासीन सभी अतिथियों का स्वागत फूल माला व बैज पहनाकर किया गया।
कार्यक्रम में भरतपुर राजस्थान से आई राजयोगिनी ब्रह्माकुमारी कविता बहन जी ने दीपावली का आध्यात्मिक अर्थ बताते हुए कहा कि दीपों के पर्व की हमारे जीवन में बहुत महत्ता है। मनुष्य के जीवन में आज अज्ञानता का अंधकार तेजी से फैलता जा रहा है। यदि हमें इससे दूर करने का प्रयास नहीं करेंगे तो जीवन में कभी भी रोशनी का प्रकाश नहीं फैल पाएगा। हम केवल रस्मों के रूप में ही दिवाली मना लेते है, लेकिन उसके आध्यात्मिक रहस्यों से विमुख हो रहे हैं। यदि हमें हर घर को रोशन करना है तो जीवन में ज्ञान का दीपक जलाना होगा। हमारा पर्व भारतीय संस्कृति और सभ्यता को किसी ना किसी रूप में आध्यात्मिक सत्ता से जोड़ता है।
मुख्य अतिथि तहसीलदार टी.पी.सिंह जी ने सर्वप्रथम सादाबाद के सभी क्षेत्र वासियों को दीपावली बधाई दी , और कहा कि आप शुद्ध मन से उस परमात्मा को ध्यान करते हुए सदैव सत्कर्म करो तो निश्चित ही हमारे जीवन में सफलता ही सफलता होगी।
स्थानीय प्रभारी बी.के. भावना बहन ने कहा दीपक मिट्टी का बना होता है । एक या दो रुपया उसकी कीमत होती है परंतु जब उसमें तेल और बाती डल जाती है और वह जल उठता है तो पूजनीय बन जाता है । उसको नमस्कार किया जाता है, उसकी रोशनी को सिर-माथे से लगाया जाता है । उस प्रज्ज्वलित दीपक पर धन तथा पदार्थ वारी किए जाते है , उसे साक्षी मान प्रण किए जाते हैं लेकिन तेल चुकते होते ही, बाती बुझते ही, दीपक को कचरे में फेंक दिया जाता है ।
मानव शरीर भी मिट्टी के दीपक सदृश्य ही है, जब इसमें आत्मा रूपी ज्योति प्रवेश हो जाती है और ज्ञान रूपी घृत से वह ज्योति निरंतर जगमगाती रहती है तो व्यक्ति पूजनीय बन जाता है परंतु, आत्मा के जाते ही, शरीर की गति मिट्टी के दीपक समान हो जाती है । अतः दीपावली है आत्मा की ज्योति, ज्ञान-घृत से प्रकाशित कर जीवन को पूजनीय बनाने का यादगार है ।
