Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Dadi Janki Lay Foundation Stone of Gulzar Upvan in Lucknow

Lucknow ( Uttar Pradesh ): The Brahma Kumaris Lucknow organized a program to lay the foundation stone for a yoga retreat center called “Gulzar Upvan”. Honorable Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath and Dadi Janki, Head of the Brahma Kumaris Organization, were the special guests on this occasion of the foundation stone laying ceremony. The aim of this retreat center is to teach Rajayoga Meditation to people for making a value-based society.

Many prominent personalities were present on this occasion including Mr. Ashutosh Tandon, Uttar Pradesh State Cabinet Minister; Dr. Mahendra Singh, Cabinet Minister of Jal Shakti in Uttar Pradesh Government; Mr. Swatantra Dev Singh, Head of State BJP and Minister of State Independent Charge Power, Transport and Portfolio in Government of Uttar Pradesh; and BK Radha, Director, Brahma Kumaris Luknow Gomtinagar Branch, and BK Asha, Director of Om Shanti Retreat Center, Gurgaon.

The Madhurvani (singing) group from Mount Abu was also present to enliven the function with Divine music.

The Honorable Chief Minister welcomed Dadi Janki to Lucknow and said that mind is one instrument that can be the cause of our bondage or freedom, depending upon its use. The Brahma Kumaris teach Rajyoga to the common man in an easy way. They are doing the difficult work of transforming people to become divine. Dadi Janki is an example of the Indian tradition of yogic living and its benefits in front of the world. He expressed gratitude towards her many divine services. Values are the real wealth of any nation. Today, the Indian science of yoga is in demand all over the world. Organizations like the Brahma Kumaris have done great work for taking yoga to the masses. Every Indian must feel proud of this work. He assured the Brahma Kumaris sisters of full cooperation from his government in this work and any future endeavors.

Dadi Janki expressed her happiness at being present there and meeting the Chief Minister as well as the members of the divine family. She asked everyone to always remain soul conscious. Being a Brahma Kumari means having the five qualities of Truth, Divinity, Purity, Humility and sweetness.

BK Asha, Director, Om shanti Retreat Center, Gurgaon, while expressing her happiness at the extension of services in Luknow, recalled the start of the Brahma Kumaris journey here. Under the blessing and guidance of Brahma Baba, founder of the organization, only two Brahma Kumaris sisters started divine services in this area. Today that seed has become a tree and everyone knows about the organization and its work.
