Itahari ( Nepal ): Chief Minister of Province No. 1 Honourable Sher Dhan Rai was present as chief guest for a grand stage program organized by the Brahma Kumaris of Itahari on the occasion of their 25th anniversary.
BK Raj, Chief of the Brahma Kumaris Nepal; Mr. Dwarikalal Chaudhary, Mayor of Sub-Metropolitan City of Itahari; Members of Parliament, Social Workers, Businessman, Police personnel, BK Sharda, In-charge of the Brahma Kumaris Itahari, and many other VIP guests were present on the dais.
About 7,000 participants including BKs enjoyed the program. To add flavor, Mr. Pritam Acharya (the 2nd runner-up in India’s biggest singing talent show Saregamapa) was present to sing patriotic songs. Different types of songs, dramas, and jhankis (tableaus) were performed.
Later, Chief Minister Honourable Sherdhan Rai and BK Raj inaugurated the Brahma Kumaris Itahari Centre with a curtain-raising and flag hoisting ceremony and BK Geeta delivered Godly knowledge to the Chief Minister during the museum visit.
Before the program, a blood donation program was held in the venue which was supported by the Nepal Red Cross Society. A total of 97 pints of blood were collected.
