Raipur (Chhattisgarh): The Brahma Kumaris in Raipur organised a ‘Felicitation Ceremony’ at their Retreat Center Shanti Sarovar to honor State Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, Ministers, and the Members of the Legislative Assembly of Chhattisgarh State.
In his speech Honourable Chief Minister, Mr. Bhupesh Baghel said, “To establish Moral and Spiritual Values in the Society, the Brahma Kumaris are doing commendable services that need no mention because all are aware of it. Since the very first Budget Session of the Legislative Assembly when Mr. Rajendra Prasad Shukla was its Chairman, we were served Brahma Bhojan (food offered to God) by the Brahma Kumaris. Even today we have gathered here in this function to receive that food again like a tradition of Brahma Kumaris.”
BK Mruthyunjaya, Executive Secretary of the Brahma Kumaris from Mount Abu, addressing the elite audience said, “Chhattisgarh is rich in its Cultural and Spiritual Tradition. On this basis only the development of this State must take place but not with the mere Power of Science and Technology so that it may become the Role Model for the entire Country.” He said, “Yesterday I had a chance to participate in the Global Summit of Science and Technology in Delhi. There I came to know how greatly India has progressed in the field of Technology. It is very good but growth of Spiritual Values is also essential.” He invited everyone to make their State of Chhattisgarh totally free from Sins, Sorrows, all Vices and Fears with the Power of Spirituality and Morality. He said that Moral and Spiritual education is important to change thoughts and beliefs in the Human Minds. He invited all the Ministers to visit the Brahma Kumaris Head Quarter at Mount Abu where they will receive new inspirations.
He further said, “Chhattisgarh is a new State, New Raipur is a new Capital City very beautifully built.” On behalf of Revered Rajyogini Dadi Janki, Chief Administrator of the Brahma Kumaris, extending her blessings and best wishes he said, “Dadiji’s desire is that Chhattisgarh State must develop as an Example of Moral Values and Spiritual Strength for the whole Nation.”
BK Mruthyunjaya then felicitated the Honourable Chief Minister, Mr. Bhupesh Baghel; Speaker of the State Legislative Assembly Dr. Charan Das Mahant; State Leader of the Opposition, Mr. Dharamlal Kaushik, and Former Cabinet Minister Mr. Brij Mohan Agrawal, along with all the ministers and MLAs by presenting them shawls and mementos.
BK Kamala, Brahma Kumaris Centre In-Charge in Raipur, welcomed all the Guests on the occasion and presided over the whole function.
