Chhatarpur ( Madhya Pradesh ): The Brahma Kumaris of Chhatarpur celebrated Ganesh Chaturathi with aplomb. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, all precautions were taken and the proceedings were telecast live on the YouTube channel of Brahma Kumaris Chhatarpur. Live tableaux were exhibited and beautiful song and dance performances enthralled the audience.
BK Shailja, Incharge of Brahma Kumaris in Chhatarpur, while speaking on this occasion, said that in the form of the coronavirus pandemic, humans are witnessing the consequences of exploiting the environment and wrong food practices. Ganesha Chaturadhi festival gives a relevant message regarding nature. In mythology, Ganesha and his family are shown living in harmony with several animals of very different natures. This teaches us to establish a cooperative and harmonious relationship with nature.
Many people joined the program online and asked questions about the meaning behind various symbols shown around Ganesha. The Brahma Kumaris sisters answered all queries patiently and with insight. They also shared the Spiritual significance of this festival. They urged people to follow a pure lifestyle.
