Brahma Kumaris Tie Rakhi to Chief Minister of Karnataka and Ten Thousand People at Kanteerava Stadium

Chamarajpet, Bangalore ( Karnataka ): On the occasion of the 75th ‘Amrit Mahotsav’ of Indian Independence, a mega program was organised on August 15, 2022, at the Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru.  In this program Basavaraj Bommai, Chief Minister of Karnataka; R. Ashok, Revenue Minister;  Ashwathnarayan, Higher Education Minister; D. Sadananda Gowda, former Central Minister;  B.S. Yediyurappa, former Chief Minister of Karnataka, and other Ministers participated. The Chief Minister of Karnataka hoisted the tricolor on this occasion. More than 50 thousand people witnessed the program where Brahma Kumaris celebrated Raksha Bandhan and tied Rakhis to the general public.

Brahma Kumaris displayed a huge Rakhi, measuring 50 feet long and 15 feet high, and tied the sacred rakhi thread to more than 10 thousand people.

Rakhi was also tied and good wishes were shared with Basavaraj Bommai, Chief Minister of Karnataka; R. Ashok, Revenue Minister; Ashwathnarayan, Higher Education Minister, and other dignitaries.

This program was conducted by Bangalore City Sub-Zone Headquarters Chamarajpet, Bangalore, with the co-operation of the Vijayanagar Centre, Bangalore.  BK Teachers BK Pavithra, BK Savithri, BK Ambika, BK Prasanna, and BK Chandra and other BK Brothers and Sisters participated and co-operated for the grand success of the program.
