Rewa ( Madhya Pradesh ): A special program on de-addiction was held at Central Jail Rewa on the occasion of the International Day against drug abuse.
Deputy Head of the Central Jail, Mr. Ravishankar Singh, Welfare Officer Mr. D K Sarsaji, Head of the local center of the Brahma Kumaris BK Nirmala, BK Vijay Dev, Executive Engineer Mr. C P Malviye, BK Prakash, Veteran Journalist Benazir Anjoom, Social activist Ms. Hsrshmeen Akhtar, BK Sonal, BK Monika and BK Rishi were also present in this program.
Speaking on this occasion, BK Nirmala said that the jail inmates can give up drug addiction and make something worthwhile out of their lives. They can thereby become an example for the society.
At another program in Swami Vivekananda Park, a workshop on de-addiction was held. In addition to BK Nirmala, Dr. Askok Kumar Bhargav, Commissioner Rewa, Joint Department head in social Justice department Ms. Suchita Tirki, BK Surjeet Dwivdi and BK Prakash were present on this occasion.
