Brahma Kumaris Rajayoga Centre Launch Pause for Peace Initiative

Zimbabwe ( Africa ): Non-Profit Worldwide organization, Brahma Kumaris Raja Yoga Centre launched its Pause for Peace initiative in Bulawayi which is meant to encourage people to promote peace in the country.

The Pause for Peace initiative was designed to teach people from all ages and from all walks of life how to pause, reflect, calm the mind, think objectively and respond from a place of neutrality, emotional calm, and mental clarity rather than from a place of reactive self-defense, fear or anger.

Brahma Kumaris Raja Yoga Centre Project coordinator Sister Rekha Vithal said that the project has been carried out successfully in some parts of the country.

“The success of the project in other African countries has been overwhelming and therefore we propose to take this project to all provinces of Zimbabwe.

“We are very excited a training session is being held in Bulawayo at Sizinda Vocational Training Youth Centre. This is to provide a platform for Zimbabweans to create a peaceful and positive change in our life, in line with President Mnangagwa’s 2030 vision of a middle-income economy,” she said.

“In support, we aim to cultivate individual dignity of the soul and a deepening of a collective consciousness of peace.

These sessions will be at no cost to you and we are encouraging all to participate by simply pausing for a minute or two and reflect on peace.

From this stillness we can tap in to our true nature, which is peaceful, loving, truthful, pure and joyous,” said Sister Vithal.
