Brahma Kumaris Plant Trees as a Tribute to Departed Souls due to Covid-19 and Front-line Workers

Ludhiana ( Punjab ): With the vision to restore and revive the damaged ecosystem, the Brahma Kumaris Ludhiana organized an awareness-raising and tree-planting event at its service center Vishwa Shanti Sadan and various other local locations on World Environment Day 2021. Following the Covid-19 norms, the event was arranged under the able guidance of center Incharge BK Saraswati.

The Chief Guest, Sushil Prabhakar, Professor of Animal Production and Former Director of Veterinary clinics in GADVASU, inaugurated the event held at Vishwa Shanti Sadan. President RSS Mr. Kapila also participated in the plantation drive carried out in the Model Town area of Ludhiana.

This event which was also conducted online had virtual participation of around 100 people connected via Zoom online platform.

Raja Yoga Teacher BK Sakshi welcomed the guest and all participants.

During the event, memorial trees were planted as a sacred way to remember and honor the loved ones who lost their lives to Covid-19. Also, a special thanksgiving meditation was done to express gratitude towards corona warriors and other front-line workers.

Brahma Kumaris are already working on various environmental issues by using renewable energy generated by the solar thermal power plant at the Brahma Kumaris headquarters in Mount Abu, having a solar kitchen, arranging various activities related to Clean India Mission, Sustainable Yogic Farming, and many other social activities to accelerate ecosystem recovery.

Exhorting all to protect the environment, BK Meenakshi shared: “Environment and spirituality are interconnected as there is a deep relation between nature ( our body ) and soul ( the spirit ). Therefore, protecting the environment is protecting thyself.”

BK Saraswati bestowed blessings to everyone.

BK Neelima concluded the event with a guided meditation for all to experience the peace within and sharing the vibrations of peace with the souls who had left their bodies due to Covid-19 and the environment.

प्रजापिता ब्रह्माकुमारी के ईश्वरीय विश्व विद्यालय लुधियाना ने 5 जून 2021 को केंद्र प्रभारी बीके सरस्वती दीदी के कुशल मार्गदर्शन में लुधियाना में विभिन्न स्थानों पर विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस मनाया।

कोरोना काल में जान गंवाने वालों की याद में पेड़ लगाए गए।  चिकित्सकों और सभी अग्रिम पंक्ति के कार्यकर्ताओं जैसे कोरोना योद्धाओं के लिए ध्यानियों द्वारा विशेष धन्यवाद दिया गया।

कार्यक्रम के मुख्य अतिथि श्री सुशील प्रभाकर थे।  उन्होंने 2007 से 2011 तक GADVASU में पशु चिकित्सा क्लीनिक के निदेशक, 2011-2015 तक विश्वविद्यालय परीक्षा नियंत्रक और 2015-2020 तक GADVASU के रजिस्ट्रार के रूप में काम किया।वर्तमान में वे पशु प्रजनन के प्रोफेसर के रूप में कार्यरत हैं।  उन्होंने कार्यक्रम का उद्घाटन किया।  लगभग 100 लोग इस प्रोग्राम में शामिल हुए जो ज़ूम ऑनलाइन प्लेटफॉर्म के माध्यम से ऑनलाइन भी आयोजित किया गया था।

आरएसएस अध्यक्ष कपिला ने भी मॉडल टाउन में पौधरोपण अभियान में हिस्सा लिया।
बीके साक्षी दीदी ने सभी अतिथियों का स्वागत किया।

बी.के.  मीनाक्षी दीदी ने समझाया कि आध्यात्मिकता और पर्यावरण के बीच बहुत गहरा संबंध है, क्योंकि आध्यात्मिकता हमें प्रकृति और आत्मा के बीच गहरे संबंध का एहसास कराती है।

ब्रमाकुमारी पहले से ही माउंट आबू में ब्रह्मकुमारी हेड क्वार्टर में सौर तापीय ऊर्जा संयंत्र द्वारा उत्पन्न अक्षय ऊर्जा का उपयोग करके, सौर रसोई होने, स्वच्छ भारत अभियान, शाश्वत योगिक खेती और कई अन्य सामाजिक गतिविधियों से संबंधित विभिन्न गतिविधियों की रक्षा के लिए विभिन्न पर्यावरणीय मुद्दों पर काम कर रही है।  पर्यावरण।

अंत में बीके सरस्वती दीदी ने सभी को आशीर्वाद दिया। बीके नीलिमा दीदी ने दर्शकों को अपने भीतर की गहरी शांति का एहसास कराया और फिर उन आत्माओं के साथ शांति के  परकँपन साझा किए जिन्होंने कोरोना के कारण अपना शरीर छोड़ दिया और जो लोग कोरोना से पीड़ित हैं।

कोरोना काल में सरकार द्वारा सुझाए गए दिशा-निर्देशों का पालन करते हुए कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया जाएगा।
