Brahma Kumaris Meet President of Peru, South America

Peru ( South America ):  The Inter-religious Council of Peru has been bringing together more than 15 churches and communities of faith since 2005. The Brahma Kumaris were invited to be part of this event at The Government Palace (the official residence of the President of Peru).

Representatives of the different communities of faith met to dialogue with the President of the Republic, Martín Vizcarra, and Justice and Human Rights Minister Ana Teresa Revilla. Topics of national relevance, including climate change (protection of tropical forests), fighting against corruption, the topic of refugees and migrants, and the eradication of violence against women and their family group were discussed.

BK Nonie Reano, Representative of Brahma Kumaris Peru shared about the spiritual approach, personal work and perspectives for the joint efforts to make a better country.

President Martin Vizcarra received the traditional greeting of the representatives of the religious and faith communities including the Brahma Kumaris of Peru.

BK Nonie and President Martin Vizcarra had an informal and smiling greeting, sharing a sweet message of peace.
