Mauritius ( East Africa ) : Prithvirajsing Roopun, Honorable President of Republic of Mauritius, visited the Brahma Kumaris center at Quartre Bornes and was tied a sacred rakhi by BK Mala. BK Madan and BK Andatta were also present on this occasion and had a spiritual conversation with the President.
Mr. Pravind Kumar Jugnauth, Prime Minister of Mauritius, paid a visit to Brahma Kumaris Center (the Academy of Integrated and Sustainable Development Center) with Mrs. Kobita Jugnauth and was tied rakhi by BK Geeta. BK Gaitree, BK Mala, and BK Pradeep were also present on this occasion.
Mr. Marie Cyril Eddy Boissezon, the Vice President of the Republic of Mauritius, visited the BK Center and was tied rakhi by BK Geeta.
The auspicious festival of Raksha Bandhan provided an opportunity for the Brahma Kumaris to meet and tie sacred rakhi to several VIP/IPs, Members of the National Assembly (MNA) and Dignitaries.
