Lima, Peru ( South America ): All the spiritual and religious leaders of the Interreligious Council of Peru-Religions for Peace, of which Brahma Kumaris Peru is a part, met with Francisco Sagasti, President of the Republic. The meeting, for reasons of the pandemic, took place virtually. Environmental issues, actions to eradicate violence against women, commitment to migrants and refugees, and the fight against corruption and the need to advance towards a public policy on freedom and religious diversity were addressed.
BK Sister Nonie Reaño from Perú represented the Brahma Kumaris for this interfaith meeting.
