Brahma Kumaris Honor Nurses on International Nurses Day

Abu Road ( Rajasthan ): Some 75 nurses were honored in the celebration held on International Nurses Day in the Global Auditorium of Manmohinivan campus, Shantivan.

Dr. Sandhya Ghai, Dean of Gitanjali Nursing College, Udaipur, said that nursing staff are no less than mothers and doctors who persistently put in their best to help the patients.

Dr. Mohit Gupta, Senior consultant of the cardiac department of GB Panth hospital, Delhi while addressing the group, said that raj yoga meditation is medicine and, if practiced daily, can help keep the mind and body healthy.

BK Mruthyunjaya stated that nurses should mandatorily practice meditation as it is the need of the hour.

Dr. Partap Midha, Director of Global Hospital, appreciated the dedication and the contribution of the nurses. Small plays and stage programs to motivate the nurses depicting their lives and struggles were presented by children.

The guests present were welcomed by Dr. Banarasi Lal. Eminent guests Sashi Bala, Principal of LML Global Nursing College, Prof Banu, Dr. S D Gupta, Dr. Suraj, Dr. Manju Gupta, BK Rupa, Col Jitender Singh, and many other dignitaries were present at the event.
