Brahma Kumaris Hathras Address Public Program on Transportation Awareness

Hathras ( Uttar Pradesh ): The Apna Ghar Ashram Home for Mentally Challenged and Homeless People, in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh, organised a public program on Transportation Awareness, in association with the Brahma Kumaris of Anandpuri Colony, during the Festival at the Shri Dawooji Temple. Mr. Chamnesh Rajput of Apna Ghar was the coordinator of the program.

The program was initiated by lighting the lamps and offering flowers to Goddess Saraswati and Bharat Mata by Dr. Siddhartha Verma, ASP, Hathras; BK Shanta, Anandpuri Centre in Charge; Mr. Shourya Kumar, Traffic Inspector; Mr. Madan Mohan Varshneya, former President of Apna Ghar; Mr. Mohanlal Agrawal; Mr. Harish Sharma, Advocate; Mr. Ashok Kapur and others who were the guests on the occasion.

Mr. Dipak Rafi rendered the song “Deepa se Deepa Jagate Chalo …” during the inaugural lighting.

Dr. Siddhartha Verma said, “Instead of enforcing punishment, the public must be educated on Traffic Rules and given awareness to follow them truthfully. It must be made a part of life; then only we can have control to avoid accidents.” He was addressing the audience who came for the festival.

On this occasion Mr. Kabadi Baba, a Social Worker said, “Beauty of Human Being lies in his character and qualities but today man has been asked to learn his qualities from the animals.”

BK Shanta said that our problems are within us and we are treating them externally.  Anger, despair, and tension that come in our lives become the cause of accidents.

Mr. Satyapal Singh, former Block President; Mr. Harish Sharma, Mr. Shourya Kumar, Mr. Bhagwati Prasad and few others also shared their views on this occasion.

Mr. Madanlal Varshneya extended the vote of thanks to all for their participation.

Mr. Ashok Kumar of the Lions Club arranged an exhibition on Transport Awareness through videos and posters and the Brahma Kumaris of Anandpuri Colony decorated the area with slogans and pictures of their Transport Wing to make the public aware of the Transport Rules and the consequences of ignoring them.

On this occasion alongside with the guests, Police personnel also were felicitated with mementos.

The entire show was managed by Mr. Chamnesh Rajput.
