Brahma Kumaris GCH Honour Her Late Majesty The Queen With World Meditation Hour

London ( UK ): Honouring the life of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Brahma Kumaris at Global Co-operation House held a special event with world meditation hour.

The Queen’s representative, the Deputy Lieutenant for the Borough of London, Mei Sim Lai, opened the hour of reflection and contemplation leading up to the National Moment of Reflection at 8 pm.

She spoke movingly of the qualities of the Queen which she had the personal opportunity to observe.

A visual display of quotes that Her Majesty had spoken in her long reign followed until the 8 pm silent tribute.  A pin-drop silence in the packed auditorium was evident.

Sister Jayanti, Additional Head of the Brahma Kumaris, accompanied by Sudesh Didi, European Director, lovingly shared about the Queen’s commitment to selfless service and her deep relationship with God.

The evening was brought to a close by BK Sister Maureen, Programme Director for the Brahma Kumaris GCH.

Such was the deep respectful completion of the hour of prayer and meditation there was a reluctance to finish the gathering.  Om shanti.
