Brahma Kumaris Gandhinagar Promote Tree Plantation and Environmental Awareness

Gandhinagar ( Gujarat ): The Brahma Kumaris Center in Sector 28 in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, organized a special gathering in Peace Park Hall to mark the Environment Day celebrations. The special guests on this occasion included Swami Onkaranand Saraswati, Founder and Head of the International Society for Truth Consciousness, and his disciple, Swami Vivekananda Saraswati; Mr. Hemanth Suthar, Deputy conservator of forests, wildlife expert, nature educationalist and freelance writer; and Mr. Dinesh Chawda, former forest officer.

The guests shared their views on environment awareness and conservation. BK Kailash, Head of the local Brahma Kumaris center, welcomed everyone heartily. Former manager of Barkley Bank and trustee of Global Hospital Mount Abu, BK Rashmikant Acharya, expressed gratitude towards all on behalf of the Brahma Kumaris. The program also saw tree plantation by the guests and the participants.
