Brahma Kumaris Address 550th Prakash Purab Celebration of Guru Nanak Dev

Ludhiana ( Punjab ): The Rotary Club and Senior citizens welfare association of Ludhiana organized a program celebrating the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev. The inaugural session included Sikh devotional music performed by Harpreet Singh, a classical vocalist. Numerous poems and speeches were done by the members of the club, focusing on Guru Nanak Dev’s teachings on universal brotherhood. Serenity floated in the air with the humming of holy hymns which paved the way for a fruitful and productive way. The whole atmosphere was filled with peace and divinity.

S. Prithipal Singh Kapur, former Vice Chancellor of Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, in his speech, laid focus on Guru Nanak Dev’s teachings on oneness, peace and harmony. He also laid emphasis on embarking the path shown by him for better living.

BK Saraswati, Sub Zone In-Charge of Ludhiana, and BK Sushma, Senior Rajyoga Teacher, were invited by the organizers to shed light on the intellectual teachings of Guru Nanak. BK Sushma Didi in her speech emphasized the fact that Guru Nanak’s message has universal acceptability, which unites all communities in promoting the culture of good and honest living. She said, His teachings offer the simple yet direct solution to attain God, through the true path which can be found in the heart of the seeker.

BK sisters were honored by the organizing committee, and Brahma Kumari sisters also gave them Godly gifts, inviting them for a visit to the International Head Quarters of the Brahma Kumaris in Mount Abu.
