“In the light of Consciousness” is a series of half-day retreats hosted by Inner Space Manchester. Join us for our fourth theme, “Avoiding Overwhelm.”

Today’s world has many challenges. In this 3-hour session, we will investigate some tools that re-connect us with ourselves at a deep spiritual level so we can face those challenges without feeling overwhelmed.

Sharona Stillerman has been a student and teacher of Raja Yoga meditation for more than 36 years.  She is director of the Brahma Kumaris, Israel. Sharona was born in Wisconsin and studied in the USA and France.  She opened the first Brahma Kumaris Center in Boston, USA, and for 15 years worked as a senior lecturer in English at Boston University. She is currently based in Israel but also travels extensively internationally, leading meditation and self-empowerment programs.

Sarah Cavanagh has a background in education and psychology, working with children, young people and adults. She has been a student and teacher of Raja Yoga with the Brahma Kumaris since 1994, coordinating events in Brighton, Inner Space Oxford, The Global Retreat Centre and currently, Inner Space Newcastle.   A popular and inspiring presenter, Sarah has travelled internationally, delivering workshops, seminars and courses on meditation, well-being and self-development.
