Malaysia : Asia Retreat Center (ARC) ushered in the New Year 2020 with a meaningful start of having a half-day Appreciation Program for Karma Yogis ( who do service in yoga ) in appreciation for all their help and effort serving tirelessly in many ways throughout the year and in the last five (5) years of operations.
It was a memorable and meaningful day for both the 170 Asia Retreat Center residents and the karma yogis who participated in the program. They thoroughly enjoyed themselves, were inspired and awed by the grand ceremony accorded to them and served with a ten-course Lunch.
It was really a special treat for the occasion as the ARC residents took the opportunity to cook for the karma yogis with much heartfelt thanksgiving and appreciation for their tireless service rendered from time to time during the several ARC programs to run smoothly and successfully throughout the year.
The highlight of the beautiful scene in the Program was the timely and appropriate presence of BK Usha from Mt. Abu to attend the 18th January 2020 service visit. Her presence added great joy, flavor and fragrance to the whole Appreciation Ceremony.
In her inspiration speech, BK Usha shared that Karma Yog is the most important amongst others as highlighted in the Gita. It helps us to have full mastery over our senses, become true self sovereigns, and an embodiment of seven qualities of the soul. Allowing all the seven energies of the soul to flow in the karma is true karma, much blessed by God, because each of the actions gives happiness to souls, making each one a jewel of contentment. In each action, always have in the awareness that the world is watching us by applying
knowledge in each step, be such a sample and quality child of God that there is quality in each and every word we speak, not ordinary but full of meaning and essence to touch the hearts and not hit the heart. Such that whoever sees it would wonder who is the instrument that does it. Our every behaviour, word and action will reveal the quality of our intention …. the subtle is visible through the physical. So be such a perfect example.
