Amarnath Darshan Mega Exhibition by Jaipur Museum

Jaipur ( Rajasthan ): For the Shiv Jayanti celebration, about twelve hundred people participated from all local BK centres of Jaipur. The Program initiated with a grand Prabhat pheri (Morning walk) with more than 1,000 Brahma Kumars and Kumaris, followed by cake cutting and  God Shiva’s flag hoisting. A grand Shivjayanti celebration took place at Rajayog Bhawan, Vaishali Nagar, in which about 1100 BKs participated.

BK Sushma, Sub-zonal in charge, presided over the whole event. Many dignitaries including IPS and IRS Officers attended the celebrations.

BK Sushma said that in the context of Maha Shivratri, Shiva means Benefactor. This name makes us realize that Incorporeal God Shiva must live separately from His Creation and would have descended on earth from the highest Abode Paramdham or Soul World, to carry out the task as Benefactor. The term ‘night’ (ratri) is a symbol of ignorance and indulgence in vices. When unrighteousness and impurity reach their zenith, the advent of God Shiva takes place in this world. This divine descent, advent or divine birth of God Shiva into a human body is celebrated as “Shivratri.”

Mega Exhibitions with “Amarnath Jyotirlinga Darshan”: Three different Exhibitions with Amarnath cave shrine housing the ice lingam of Shri Amarnath who is the manifestation of the Supreme Soul were held in Banipark, Shahpura and Kotputli. Around ten thousand devotees attended these exhibitions.

A total of 840 events were organized in Jaipur during the festival of Shiv Jayanti, including 574 spiritual discourses, 152 spiritual exhibitions, 75 Prabhat Pheri, and 39 Rajayoga camps.
