Acknowledgement of BK Contribution by High Commissioner of India to Sri Lanka

Colombo ( Sri Lanka ): A mega public event was celebrated to commemorate the 5th International Day of Yoga at Independence Square Park in Colombo, Sri Lanka.  The Ministry of Culture, Government of Sri Lanka, Tata Motors and eminent Yoga Institutes of Sri Lanka such as the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Center, the Ram Krishna Mission, Astanka Yoga Mandir, Sethsada Yoga, the Hatha Yoga center, Kriya Babaji Yoga Aranyam, Dhamya Yoga, the Institute of Human Excellence, the Brahma Kumaris Rajayoga Center and many others partnered in this mega event.

The High Commission of India organized the mega event and Dr. Rajitha Senaratne, Minister of Health, Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine; Gayantha Karunathilaka, Minister of Lands and Parliamentary Reforms; and Palani Digambaram, Minister of Upcountry New Villages, Infrastructure and Community Development, participated as the Guests of Honor with the presence of High Commissioner of India Taranjit Singh Sandhu. Hundreds of yoga enthusiasts from all over Sri Lanka also participated in the event.

BK Ganesh and a few BKs took part in the event, which concluded with Rajayoga Meditation. A meditation commentary about peace donation was well attended, and everyone experienced deep peace and stillness.
