84th Shiv Jayanti Celebrations in Mysore, Chief Minister of Karnataka Inaugurates BK Stall

Mysore ( Karnataka ): “84th Trimurti Shiv Jayanti Celebrations” were held in Mysore with a lot of enthusiasm and vigor.  “Crystal Linga Darshana,” ”Kailasa Darshana,” and a Spiritual Picture Exhibition were inaugurated for public viewing at the Yadavagiri Main Center.  It was one of the most lively attractions in the city and the event culminated on  February 25th.

The Chief Minister of Karnataka BS Yediyurappa inaugurated the Brahma Kumaris stall arranged in the “Krishi Mela” (Farmers fair) at Maharaja College grounds, Mysore, by performing prayer to the shivlings displayed in the stall.

A display of the famous ”Dwadasha Jyotirlingas” (12 Jyotirlingas) of India, reconstructed through models, was inaugurated at Gyan Sarovar Retreat Center (GSRC) by Ramakrishna Ashram Swami and other guests. All BKs took the oath and joined in the hoisting of Shiva’s flag.

A procession for peace and harmony was coordinated with many folklore teams adding to the attraction. The procession started from Mysore Palace and ended at Kalamandir, where a public program for Shiv Jayanti was organized. About 600 people participated in the event.

Get-together programs for several wings of the Brahma Kumaris were also organized.  On this occasion, daily programs were also arranged each evening  to give the Message of Shivratri at individual homes
